Al-Iqtisod: Ekonomi Syariah

1. General Information

Al-Iqtisod: Ekonomi Syariah is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research articles, conceptual papers, and literature reviews in the fields of Islamic Economics, Islamic Finance, Islamic Banking, Halal Industry, Zakat and Waqf Management, Islamic Business Ethics, and related disciplines.

2. Manuscript Requirements

Authors should ensure that submitted manuscripts:

  • Are original and have not been published elsewhere.

  • Are not under consideration by another journal.

  • Are written in clear and academic English or Bahasa Indonesia.

  • Demonstrate novelty, significance, and contribution to the field of Islamic Economics.

  • Follow ethical research standards.

6. Abstract Guidelines

The abstract should include:

  • Background

  • Purpose

  • Methodology

  • Findings

  • Contribution

Maximum 250 words.

7. Citation and References

Authors must use:

  • APA Style 7th Edition

  • Reference Management Software (Mendeley, Zotero, EndNote)

Minimum requirements:

  • 20 references

  • 80% journal articles

  • 80% references published within the last 10 years

8. Ethical Statement

Authors must ensure:

  • No plagiarism.

  • Proper citation of all sources.

  • Data authenticity and integrity.

  • Disclosure of conflicts of interest.

Plagiarism similarity index should not exceed 20%.

9. Submission Process

Manuscripts should be submitted through the Online Journal System (OJS):
